UASU MAASAI MARA CHAPTER, ORGANIZING SECRETARY

My name is Mercy Kirumba, an Environmental microbiologist.

I have been a unionist for five years now. I served in Maasai Mara University Chapter as a trustee and now as an Organising Secretary.

My roles as Organizing Secretary are;

1. Coordination of the secretariat and organization of union activities

2. Sensitization of members on union structures and activities

3. Dissemination of relevant information to membership

4. Publicity of the union

5. Maintenance of union records

I live by this mantra that "good order is the foundation of all things" and that organisation brings about efficiency, productivity and overall positive image.

I look forward to a more organised and vibrant union.
